Movie Pics: Don Juan Demarco

Depp, Brando, Dunaway... This all-star combo combined with the Great Francis Ford Coppola, have created a masterpiece lesson of Imagination and Love. This is truly a story of an Awakened Imagination and not about a narcissistic womanizer. If you take the character, and the words that he speaks, and direct them to yourself... Ahhhhh, what a love affair will begin! It makes you ask the question,"What kind of mind is it that could say these things and see the world in this way?" And that is a VERY powerful question! One of our new Favorite movies! Here are some teasers:

  1. “There are only four questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love.”
  2. “Have you never met a woman who inspires you to love? Until your every sense is filled with her? You inhale her. You taste her. You see your unborn children in her eyes and know that your heart has at last found a home.”
  3. “What do you know of great love? Have you ever loved a woman until milk leaked from her as though she had just given birth to love itself, and now must feed it or burst? Have you ever tasted a woman until she believed that she could be satisfied only by consuming the tongue that had devoured her? Have you ever loved a woman so completely that the sound of your voice in her ear could cause her body to shudder and explode with such intense pleasure that only weeping could bring her full release?”
  4. “I give women pleasure, if they desire, it is of course the greatest pleasure they will ever experience. No woman has ever left my arms unsatisfied.”
  5. “Every true lover knows that the moment of greatest satisfaction comes when ecstasy is long over and he beholds before him the flower which has blossomed beneath his touch.”
  6. “By seeing beyond what is visible to the eye. Now there are those, of course, who do not share my perceptions, it’s true. When I say that all my woman are dazzling beauties, they object. The nose of this one is too large; the hips of another, they are too wide; perhaps the breasts of a third, they are too small. But I see these women for how they truly are… glorious, radiant, spectacular, and perfect, because, I am not limited by my eyesight. Women react to me the way that they do, Don Octavio, because they sense that I search out the beauty that dwells within until it overwhelms everything else. And then they cannot avoid their desire, to release that beauty and envelope me in it.”
  7. “Every woman is a mystery to be solved.”
  8. I would say that he has a rather limited and un-creative way of looking at the situation. Look, you want to know if I understand that this is a mental hospital? Yes, I understand that, but then how can I say that you are Don Octavio and I am a guest at your villa? Correct?

One Creative Moment

"There is a moment in each day that Satan cannot find nor can his watch fiends find it; but the industrious find this moment and multiply it... And when it once is found, it renovates every moment of the day if rightly placed."
(William Blake)

Whenever we imagine things as they ought to be, rather than as they seem to be... that is
"The Moment" Blake is referring to and the moment that will be illuminated in this writing. For in that moment the spiritual man's work is done and all the great events of time start forth to mould a world in harmony with that moment's altered pattern.

Satan, Blake writes, is a "reactor". He never acts, he only reacts. And if our attitude to the happenings of the day is  "reactionary", are we not playing Satan's part? Man is only "reacting" when in his natural or Satan state... he never acts or creates, he only reacts or re-creates.

One real creative moment... one real feeling of the wish full-filled... is worth more than the whole natural life of your reaction to facts. In such a moment you could say, "God's work is done".Once more we may say with Blake:

"God only acts and Is, in existing beings or men."

There is an imaginal past and an imaginal future. When you are reacting, the past is re-created into the present. When you act out your dreams of fancy, with your Imagination, you bring the future into the present.

"I feel NOW the future in the instant."

The spiritual man acts: for him, anything that he wants to do, he can do and do immediately in his imagination, and his motto is always, "The Moment is Now".

Relationship Revelation

When you understand that YOU are the source of causation in your life, then ALL relationships are a response to the arrangement of YOUR mind... and that arrangement indicates to you what "Channel" you are tuned to... like the ones on your radio or TV. Whether its relationships to people, cars, governments, money, ideologies, animals, family... everything really, YOU are the cause of how that relationship inter-plays. This is GREAT NEWS! because if you are the cause, YOU can change it to something more wonderful if you desire to. BUT how, you say, do I do that?... READ MORE click here

Choose to be Free?

A question for a generation at the precipice of awakening:

Some time ago, we were In-Joying some time in the beautiful outside patio of a nice coffee shop in Orange County, CA, and were engaged in conversation with our server, a young man in his mid 20's, with a lovely personality. He was living with his parents and enjoying a very comfortable life, by any standard. I asked him,  "Would you rather be taken care of? Or would you choose to be Free?".

He thought about it for a bit and replied,   "I want both"!!!!    I assured him that the 2 were mutually exclusive, at which point he indicated that he was currently quite satisfied with his present situation. And who could blame him?
The question is really about
"Spiritual Adulthood"
which implies an unconditional responsibility for EVERYTHING, for
everything is a child of your consciousness
born into existence by you... the you that now plays the spiritual role of "Parent".

In that state of consciousness, you do not choose freedom... it is an inherent part of the state. It is not the freedom "From" something. That is how our culture generally discusses freedom and it is not possible to be free "From" a "Thing". Your awareness of the "Thing" makes it active in your vibration and alive in your world. And, you do not need freedom from something that you have dominion over, so there is no need to discard anything. If you had the power to create it, you have the power to re-make it into something you decide is "good" to you. This "Adulthood" is "Inclusive", not "Exclusive"

In this spiritual adulthood, there is no room for the childish toys of religions, authorities, experts, higher-powers, atoms, aliens, dimensions, fears and protections. It's only YOU and your intricate connection to all of "It".

It is the normal progression for the "child" to spiritually "grow up" and become a spiritual adult. Every life you have ever lived is the "childhood" that prepares us for the final "right of passage" where... "It did not seem strange for him to do the works of God".

So, just meditate on the question, "What is Spiritual Adulthood?" or, "How would I know if I am there?"  Then see what happens!

The Garden of Eden is the Mind of Man

You are the Gardener of your mind. You have been given the responsibility to, "Dress it and to keep it".

Perhaps you have been taking a nap and weeds have begun to grow during your slumber. You will know by looking at your world. If you see the weeds of anger, or violence, or despair, disease, poverty, etc, etc,... you can immediately begin to prune them with your mind.

You will need

The Power of Thinking "From"

People are in the habit of thinking about things which makes the things thought about "just out of reach". Even if you feel close to what you want, you are still separate from it because closeness implies separation. Manifestation is a result of UNION with what you are now contemplating. This can be accomplished by practicing the FEELING you get when you think FROM the consciousness of a fulfilled desire. Occupy "Heaven"...

Occupy Wall Street?

Together, let us Occupy the Kingdom of Heaven. It is a state of consciousness, a state of mind, and it is within us all.

The Law of Reversibility...

Consciousness and Matter are One phenomenon. All transformations of force are reversible.
Electricity can produce magnetism... and magnetism can be used to produce electricity.
Heat can produce mechanical motion... and mechanical motion can be used to produce heat.
Cause and effect, matter and energy, action and reaction are the same and inter-convertible.
When you fully understand this law, you will begin to tame and master your mind and shape your world into your ideal.

Learn to Adore Humanity...

To understand this poetic verse from the Great, William Blake, One must first have the personal realization that "Thou" refers to "Everything", literally. So it goes that, "Everything is Man". All the animals, rivers, mountains, oceans, planets, insects, storms... everything is hu-Man consciousness pushed-out, projected from Man. Man and Earth are one phenomenon. This is why everything has human DNA... because it comes out of Man. Not the way the scientists claim... that we accidentally came out of the animals. The earth and all of nature is Man's objectified, collective sub-conscious. That is why, to the mystic, everything in the "outside" world has the potential for symbolism.

So, when you see everything as Man's projected consciousness, you no longer have the need for externalized concepts of divinity, aka; God.

You will then realize that EVERYTHING you see as "out there" is actually an aspect of You.

And in the ultimate act of Self-Love, You learn to Adore Your Humanity through its projection.

It is then that you can self-lessly begin to use the power of your Imagination to redeem the entire world back to yourself. Neville lays this out in his lecture, The Seven Eyes of God link http://lifestyleluminaries.blogspot.com/2014/05/the-7-eyes-of-god.html

After years of wondering what Blake really meant by this quote, I suddenly saw it from a Facebook post that had been circulating about how they liked animals better than people. I felt that the "dislike of other people" was a symbol of this fundamental mis-understanding of what is correctly experienced as "separation".

Isn't it Wonderful...

A story from 1953:

"Most of us read and love fairy stories, but we all know that stories of improbable riches and good
fortune are for the delight of the very young. But are they? I want to tell you of something unbelievably wonderful that happened to me through the power of my imagination... And I am not 'young in years'. We live in an age which believes in neither fable nor magic, and yet everything I could possibly want in my wildest daydreams was given to me by the simple use of what you teach... that:
 'Imagining Creates Reality'
and that
'Feeling is the Secret of Imagining'.

"At the time this wonderful thing happened to me I was out of a job and had no family to fall back upon for support. I needed just about everything. To find a decent job I needed a car to look for it, and though I had a car it was so worn out it was ready to fall apart. I was behind in my rent; I had no proper clothes to seek a job; and today it is no fun for a woman of 55 to apply for a job of any kind. My bank account was almost depleted and there was no friend to whom I could turn.

"But I had been attending your lectures for almost a year and my desperation forced me to put my Imagination to the test. Indeed, I had nothing to lose. It was natural for me, I suppose, to begin by imagining myself having everything I needed. But I needed so many things and in such short order... Read More...

He is Dreaming Now...

...And they each took one hand of Alice and led her up to where the King was sleeping."He is dreaming now," said Tweedle Dee. "And what do you think he is dreaming about?" Alice said: "No one can guess that." "Why, about you!" said Tweedle Dee, triumphantly. "And if he left off dreaming about you, where do you suppose you would be?"

Tweak your intellect and read this paradigm shifting lecture "He Is Dreaming Now" http://neville-goddard.blogspot.com/p/neville-goddard-he-is-dreaming-now.html
