A Living Philosophy...

The following is from Walter Russell's wife, Lao.  It is called:

Code of Ethics for a Living Philosophy

To bring blessings upon yourself, bless your neighbor.
To enrich yourself, enrich your neighbor
Honor your neighbor and your neighbor will honor you.
To sorely hurt yourself, hurt your neighbor.
He who seeks love will find it by giving it.
The measure of a mans wealth is the measure of the wealth he has given.
To enrich yourself with many friends, enrich your friends with yourself.
That which you take away from any man, the world will take away from you.
When you take the first step to give yourself to that which you want, it will also take the first step to give itself to you.
Peace and happiness do not come to you from your horizon, they spread from you out to infinity beyond your horizon.
The whole universe is a mirror which reflects back to you that which you project into it.
Love is like unto the ascent of a high mountain peak. It comes ever nearer to you as you go ever nearer to it.

The 7 Eyes of God...

This week on LIFESTYLY LUMINARIES RADIO program, we will be discussing a transcribed lecture by Neville Goddard called, "The 7 Eyes of God". This lecture, circa 1960's, is a great description of the 7 levels of consciousness that Man experiences in his 'Prodigal' journey, by a man of deep inner vision that had many sacred texts and writings luminated for him... particularly, the Bible. Note that this has very little to do with the contemporary biblical understandings and if your religious sensibilities are not open to expansion... You are not invited to the discussion. Having studied his work for over 15 years, we are often excited to share some of his revelations with people only to find that the way in which he writes does not seem to penetrate the surface mind of most people to create understanding. We are often asked, "... but what does it mean?" or "I like what I hear when you talk about it, but I do not get anything out of reading his work".  So, we thought that we would take one of our favorite illuminations and discuss it live, on Radio, Thursday, 5-29-14, at 5:30pm MDT(Mountain Time as we are now in beautiful Boulder,CO). So join us as we endeavor to elucidate one of the great teachings of our time that really explains a lot about what is going on here in the Earth-school. Below is the actual lecture, so InJoy!

The Seven Eyes of God
Neville Goddard

we must go on to higher and higher levels, for that is the purpose of the teacher. I would like to look tonight into what it is to my mind, the greatest book in the world, the Bible, and show you a section with which you may not be familiar. It concerns the Seven Eyes of God, from the visions of Zechariah. He saw a stone with seven facets, and the Voice said, this is actually the seven eyes of God that reach over the entire world. For these seven eyes are really in man, for man is the earth of God. So forget this little planet and know that man is the true earth in which God is planted. These are the seven visions of God, seven increasingly clarifying visions of the Creator. The Bible names them but you must look for them.
The first appears only once in the Bible in Isaiah 14 ~ Lucifer, the morning star. And it tells how he is fallen and cut down to the ground - this shining being. All races have taught that man has fallen. It is not something that belongs to the Christian or the Jewish faiths, but all races have held this concept. So the first Eye of God is Lucifer - cut down to the ground.

What is....

"Surely, a man who is understanding life does not want beliefs. A man who loves, has no beliefs he loves. It is the man who is consumed by the intellect who has beliefs, because intellect is always seeking security, protection; it is always avoiding danger, and therefore it builds ideas, beliefs, ideals, behind which it can take shelter. What would happen if you dealt with violence directly, now? You would be a danger to society; and because the mind foresees the danger, it says "I will achieve the ideal of nonviolence ten years later which is such a fictitious, false process... ; To understand what is, is more important than to create and follow ideals because ideals are false, and what is is the real. To understand what is requires an enormous capacity, a swift and unprejudiced mind. It is because we dont want to face and understand what is that we invent the many ways of escape and give them lovely names as the ideal, the belief, God. Surely, it is only when I see the false as the false that my mind is capable of perceiving what is true. A mind that is confused in the false, can never find the truth. Therefore, I must understand what is false in my relationships,

Society is not changed by example...

The truth of the following statement will probably not make us many friends in the New-Age/Spirituality movement... but it is the truth and we would rather be friends with the truth
Posted:

Society is not changed by example. Society may reform itself, it may bring about certain changes through political or economic revolution, but only the religious man can create a fundamental transformation in society; and the religious man is not he who practices starvation as an example to impress society. The religious man is not concerned with society at all, because society is based on acquisitiveness, envy, greed, ambition, fear. That is, mere reformation of the pattern of society only alters the surface, it brings about a more respectable form of ambition. Whereas, the truly religious man is totally outside of society, because he is not ambitious, he has no envy, he is not following any ritual, dogma or belief; and it is only such a man who can fundamentally transform society, not the reformer. The man who sets out to be an example merely breeds conflict, strengthens fear, and brings about various forms of tyranny. It is very strange how we worship examples, idols. We don't want that which is pure, true in itself; we want interpreters, examples, masters, gurus, as a medium through which to attain something - which is all sheer nonsense, and is used to exploit people. If each one of us could think clearly from the very beginning, or reeducate ourselves to think clearly, then all these examples, masters, gurus, systems, would be absolutely unnecessary, which they are anyhow. - Krishnamurti, J. Krishnamurti The Collected Works Volume IX

The Ultimate History Lesson...

I just realized I had not posted this Revelation of our educational system yet. I looked through our blog history and could not find it and because we are reviewing the work again, It came to my attention..

This is a FANTASTIC interview with the author of 'The Underground History of American Education' & 'Weapons of Mass Instruction', John Taylor Gatto. It is sooo compelling to listen to a master of  Active Literacy speak to us in a way that inspires the higher faculties of the mind to awaken.

Literacy is slavery to those who are taught Passive Literacy, as in our public 'fool' system. Gatto lays out the difference and goes into the history of WHY it is the way that it is and HOW it became that way. It is i 5 parts so make sure you watch it to the end as it gets better all the way through!

The interviewer, Richard Grove, is another amazing individual and has a website worthy of exploration www.tadgedyandhope.com

About Time... Movie Pic's

We had the great surprise last night of discovering one of our new favorite movies... About Time. It is a nicely paced film with quirky English characters and a wonderful performance by Rachel McAdams who's smile really adds an innocent quality to the story.

It is a story about time travel and some of the interesting paradoxes and cliche's around that topic, but in the end, it is really all about the Imagination and that is why we love it so much. The story sort of tricks you into a concept that we feel is one of the most important lessons to learn here in the Earth-school and that is exercising the power of the Imagination in the art and the act of Revision. The end of the film really ties it all together without getting into the esoteric concept and carefully leads into into a reverence of the present moment.

The following is a transcribed lecture that really lays it out...

 Neville Goddard 1954
THE PRUNING SHEARS OF REVISION

This morning's subject is "The Pruning Shears of Revision". I firmly believe that if you will wisely and daily use the pruning shears of revision that you will find there is no objective beyond your ability to realize. And I
mean that seriously, no objective beyond your ability to realize.

When I was a boy of seven, a lady said to me, "I have had a vision concerning you. I'll make it now very,
very clear to you--I do not know what it is you are going to do, but I've been shown you will do something
that through the centuries after you are gone man will not undo it. I can see it and through the centuries you
will grow in stature long after you have gone. And then three men will be mentioned in hundreds of years to
come and you will be one of the three when something is discussed that was done for man."

WOWfull Information!

OK... So, we are not being lazy here. Here, we post only the things that inspire us and it just so happens that Kate of Gaia has done it again!

This is a document outlining a very different vantage point and perhaps the last one you will need to understand. It reminds us of the mindset described from the Jed McKenna books... all of them worth a viewing. And with clear knowledge of our culture's current situation. We think it is important to remember her points that what we are here, in the physical realm, is mirrored in spiritual realm. So, pay attention and be discerning, as always. We are on our 3rd reading of it so far...

Kate lays it out here nicely with very little 'in-your-face' explitives to make her very important point. Read it here or go to her website www.kateofgaia.wordpress.com

IamThewitness
An Essay by Kate of Gaia

“This entire game breaks down into its simplest component of sound and the creation of realities we experience and has been encased in the sigils and symbols of letters and words. This is the very basis of Phoenician law and the sonics and phonics intertwining where we have been blinded by the creations of visual light. In this realm of light, we are living in the past and at effect to all things visual which are the effects of sound where light, as a vibration, is merely a higher vibration of frequencies that began with sound or, more accurately, thought. If you want to hear the sound of creation all one must do is sit still, close your eyes and, in your mind only, say the word “rabbit”. Did you hear it? That, to me, is the root/route of pure creation and why our thoughts had to be carefully trained to be manipulated.

Time to Wake Up...

Ever wonder where words come from and what they really mean? Take the word 'spelling'... is it a coincidence that people use words to cast 'spells'? Kate Rene is worthy of some study. Below is a recent post from her FB page, and be sure to visit her blog for an unusual 'education' is truth and words:

Dear system worshipping whores of Babylon, You and Your Psychopathy
by kate of kaia

I find it fascinating watching your system and its delusional reality crumble down around you. You're beginning to see how powerless you truly are once those, like me, see through you for the ignorant, bought and paid for slaves that you are. In the same way the roman legions fell that was exactly the same system you serve today, your impotence is exposed as well for all to see. Yes, you love to parade yourselves in true peacock fashion with your fancy robes, your clown suits, your 9mm penis extensions, your titles, offices and repugnant elevated levels of self-impotence. Every day your masters and the foul intents you serve show their fear in grand fashion, ramping up the same old diatribes, dragging out the same old empty Trojan whore-se’s to no avail.

Movie Pics... The Matrix Trilogy Decoded

No doubt one of our favorite series of movies! And before you watch them again... you must view this documentary by Mark Passio on the hidden meanings in the movie. The audio quality may be a little less than desirable, but the information is so compelling that you will barely notice it.

There is only one thing that strikes me as missing in the discussion and that is as it relates to the second movie's theme which is about "Why are we in the matrix", in other words, what is the purpose of it? The thumbnail picture above shows  the most revealing segment of the entire documentary, and you see  the word, 'Causality', which plays a big part in this revelation as it moves to the discussion with the 'Architect" of the matrix and the concept of  "Choice" or the "Illusion of choice". Both of which are laid out brilliantly by the presenter... not to mention the writers of the movie. It leaves us hanging, and appropriately so, with the notion that we have to ask and answer the question of purpose for ourselves. The question of "Why are we in the matrix"

I propose that the answer to that question relates to the Prodigal Son  post I expressed in December.. And I also feel it relates to the value of 'Contrast'... the central theme of the Abraham-Hicks work.

"Non-dualistic" states of consciousness are really nice. And that brings up a question... "Is it possible to 'Know Thyself' from a 'Non-dualistic' perspective?" The concept of "Know Thyself" is central to Neo's encounter with the Oracle in the first movie. I'm guessing that we must more clearly define the terms 'Know' and 'Thyself' in order to fully entertain the outcome of the inquiry.

So, for now, let us sit with these questions... let them percolate for a while. Watch the documentary then enjoy the movies from a whole new perspective. I know we will!

Freedom From the Known...

An absolutely essential book to begin to break through our encrusted ideas and ideologies to start to uncover the truth of you as you actually are! I was drawn to this book as a result of watching a documentary on the life of Bruce Lee, the famous martial artist, it's called 'A Warriors Journey'. At one point in the documentary, it talked about how Bruce was physically incapacitated for a long period of time, from a spinal injury, and began reading philosophy which he credits for many of his martial arts break-throughs. Krishnamurti was his favorite, and up pops a clip of Krishnamurti saying, "You must be a light unto yourself". There was something about seeing him say that which inspired me to go to the bookstore and find out more about him. This book, Freedom From the Known, caught my attention as I had been recently questioning everything I thought I knew. It is not a big volume, however, it took a long time to read. The concepts were so foreign that I would read a paragraph, thoroughly digesting every word, extremely present, and would sit dumbfounded... wondering what I just read. This is not a book of information or more acquisition for the ego/mind. It is an invitation to search for truth and see the world more clearly. Take your time and you may need to read it several times before it starts to sink in... But READ IT!!!

I also Highly recommend watching A Warriors Journey.  Very Inspiring!!!

Seth Godin at High Point University...

Watch this inspiring interview and very practical message!!!...

"High Point University Presents: Seth Godin" features HPU president Nido Qubein and bestselling author and marketing pioneer, Seth Godin. The program originally aired on the UNC-TV network. High Point University is consistently recognized as one of the best colleges in the south, in part, because they attract top thought leaders to campus. Beyond the Q and A with President Qubein and a keynote presentation, Godin also took the time to discuss business ideas with HPU Entrepreneurship CLub students in an informal session.

During the high-energy and often humorous presentation, Godin discusses what he calls the new "connection economy," encouraging entrepreneurs to find something remarkable to sell to one key group instead of selling an average product to the masses. He also pushes the next generation of leaders to stop following and start leading.

Named one of the top 21 speakers for the 21st century by Successful Meetings magazine, Godin draws on his best-selling books and years of changing the landscape of marketing. He writes about the post-industrial revolution, the way ideas spread, marketing, quitting, leadership, and most of all, changing everything. He has written 14 books that have been translated into more than 36 languages, every one of which has been a best-seller. His books include "The Purple Cow," "Poke the Box" and "Linchpin: Are You Indispensable?"

Thought is the Coin of Heaven...

Your conscious mind is engaged on ONLY one thing at a time. You are free to choose what your mind is focused upon. You can Invest your thought on lovely things, or spend your thought unwisely on negative things. Self-talk is self prophecy because the mind, through the Imagination, is a creative device that is always ON.  In the following transcribed lecture from 1953, Neville makes this VERY clear and uses the example of a back man in the '50s who overcame that self-imposed limitation with astounding results!

SOUND INVESTMENTS

Today's subject is "Sound Investments".

I want to share with you today what I consider one of the truly great revelations of all time.

On Sunday morning, April 12th, my wife woke from what was really a deep, profound sleep and as she was

waking a voice distinctly spoke to her; and the voice spoke to her; and the voice spoke with great authority and it said to her: "You must stop spending your thoughts, your time and your money; everything in life must be an investment." So she quickly wrote it down and went straight to the dictionary to look up the two important words in the sentence, 'spending' and 'investing': the dictionary defines 'spending' as "to waste, to squander, to layout without return." To 'invest' is to "layout for a purpose, for which a profit is expected" .

Then I began to analyze the sentence - "You must stop spending your thoughts, your time and your money, for everything in life must be an investment". As I dwelt upon it, I saw where everything is NOW; that through the portals of the present all time must pass, and this psychological NOW, the state in which I find myself now, does not recede into the past. It advances into my future.

So, what I do NOW is the all important thing

Is there Such a Thing as Transformation?

This is an important question to ask. We live in a culture that is addicted to drama. When we talk about Transformation, we think on grand cosmic scales of consciousness with fantastic implications. But here, Krishnamurti sets us straight:

Q: Is there such a thing as transformation? What is it to be transformed? Krishnamurti: When you are observing, seeing the dirt on the road, seeing how politicians behave, seeing your own attitude towards your wife, your children and so on, transformation is there. Do you understand? To bring about some kind of order in daily life, that is transformation; not something extraordinary, out of this world. When one is not thinking clearly, rationally, be aware of that and change it, break it. That is transformation. If you are jealous watch it, don't give it time to flower, change it immediately. That is transformation. When you are greedy, violent, ambitious, trying to become some kind of holy man, see how it is creating a world of tremendous uselessness. I don't know if you are aware of this. Competition is destroying the world. The world is becoming more and more competetive, more and more aggressive, and if you change it immediately, that is transformation. And if you go very much deeper into the problem, it is clear that thought denies love. Therefore one has to find out whether there is an end to thought, an end to time, not philosophize over it and discuss it, but find out. Truly that is transformation, and if you go into it very deeply, transformation means never a thought of becoming, comparing; it is being absolutely nothing. - Krishnamurti, Krishnamurti Foudation Trust Bulletin 42, 1982

Movie Pics... DUNE

This weeks Movie Pics is Frank Herbert's DUNE and Children of DUNE series which we recently re-watched again for the first time. It is always amazing how much our viewpoints change over time and how differently things appear as time passes... or should I say more correctly, as our consciousness expands. DUNE is a fantastic drama of the unfoldment of consciousness,  in a futuristic setting. It is Shakespearean in its underlying lessons and dramas, but instead of all the world being a stage, the stage is the entire universe and the drama builds through generations to the ultimate human accomplishment.

On the surface, it seems like every story of 'The Warrior's Journey', as Joseph Campbell would put it. Lots of plots and sub-plots, war and violence, and a coming of age. But this disguise is the backdrop for something beyond that. Something that stretches our imaginations into larger ideas in Children of Dune.

Love is not Sentiment...

Posted:

Obviously love is not sentiment. To be sentimental, to be emotional, is not love, because sentimentality and emotion are mere sensations. A religious person who weeps about Jesus or Krishna, about his guru and somebody else is merely sentimental, emotional. He is indulging in sensation, which is a process of thought, and thought is not love. Thought is the result of sensation, so the person who is sentimental, who is emotional, cannot possibly know love. Again, aren’t we emotional and sentimental? Sentimentality, emotionalism, is merely a form of self-expansion. To be full of emotion is obviously not love, because a sentimental person can be cruel when his sentiments are not responded to, when his feelings have no outlet. An emotional person can be stirred to hatred, to war, to butchery. A man who is sentimental, full of tears for his religion, surely, has no love. - Krishnamurti, The First and Last Freedom, pp 232-233

Posted:
Is forgiveness love? What is implied in forgiveness? You insult me and I resent it, remember it; then, either through compulsion or through repentance, I say, "I forgive you." First I retain and then I reject. Which means what? I am still the central figure; it is I who am forgiving somebody. As long as there is the attitude of forgiving it is I who am important, not the man who is supposed to have insulted me. So when I accumulate resentment and then deny that resentment, which you call forgiveness, it is not love. A man who loves obviously has no enmity and to all these things he is indifferent. Sympathy, forgiveness, the relationship of possessiveness, jealousy and fear all these things are not love. They are all of the mind, are they not? - Krishnamurti, The First and Last Freedom, p 233

Beyond the Consciousness of Fascism...

Freedom to Fascism is an Internet film by director Aaron Russo. Its title reveals its content as it relates to current affairs in this country.

It is a real eye-opener about some dire possibilities that exist as potential truths that could affect the freedoms and the way of life we have become so comfortable with in our society.

This film raises some important questions that directly relate to the power of the "states of
consciousness" we entertain individually and collectively. It is also a magnificent opportunity to learn to exercise the power of redemption -- that is, our ability to revise any images in our mind of the past, present or future, to conform to our ideals. Such a revision will affect a change in the world, and yes, that includes the past that we all love to believe is so permanent. This revision is not an idle rearrangement of language in the chattering mind. It is actually creating images in the mind and stepping into them and feeling the realness of the images with full sensory detail.

With this in mind, it is very useful to remember that the belief in a thing is more powerful than the thing itself. This is fundamental to the "law of attraction." It is the foundation of the reality we are each creating with our imaginal activities -- the images we are holding in our minds.
