Show Me the One... Show Me the Way

Today, we want to share with you a powerful tool that anyone can use and everyone has. It is a mantra of clarity and a great way to start each day. It's called "Show Me the One... Show Me the Way" and it is a command to your "higher" or "inner" self which knows where it/you are going. This is NOT a petition to some nebulous higher authority. Simply say to yourself,  "Show me the one that I need to meet today" or "Show me the one thing I must do today" to move me closer to my goals and dreams. And make it obvious so I do not have to look so hard and so I don't miss it". You can say this to your self all day long... Then you have to:

PAY ATTENTION!!!!

You will be thrilled at how quickly this can work and how much fun it can be. A Remembered Truth is a Dead Thing...

Questioner: It is said that in each one of us truth is permanent and timeless; but' since our life is transitory, how can there be truth in us?

Krishnamurti: You see, we have made of truth something permanent. And is truth permanent? If it is, then it is within the field of time. To say that something is permanent implies that it is continuous; and what is continuous is not truth. That is the beauty of truth: it must be discovered from moment to moment, not remembered.

 A remembered truth is a dead thing. 

Truth must be discovered from moment to moment because it is living, it is never the same; and yet each time you discover it, it is the same.

What is important is not to make a theory of truth, not to say that truth is permanent in us and all the rest of it--- that is an invention of the old who are frightened both of death and of life. These marvelous theories--- that truth is permanent , that you need not be afraid because you are an immortal soul, and so on--- have been invented by frightened people who's minds are decaying and whose philosophies have no validity. Life has to be discovered from moment to moment, from day to day; it has to be discovered,  it cannot be taken for granted. If you take it for granted that you know life, you are not living. Three meals a day, clothing, shelter, sex, your job, your amusements and your thinking process, is not life. Life is something to be discovered; and you cannot discover it if you have not lost, if you have not put aside the things that you have found. Do experiment with what I am saying. Put aside your philosophies, your religions, your customs, your racial taboos and all the rest of it, for they are not life. It you are caught in those things you will never discover life; and the function of education, surely is to help you to discover life all the time.

A man who says he knows is already dead,

But the man who thinks," I don't know" , who is discovering, finding out, who is not seeking an end, not thinking in terms of arriving or becoming-- such a man is living, and that living is truth.

I love how Abraham explains how it would BE if we had NO FEAR and why it would be a place of Well-Being for everyone!!! 

No human would ever do anything to harm another if Connected to Source because when you're Connected, you're empowered; you don't feel insecure. And when you don't feel insecure, you don't need to do something to somebody else that you're afraid of, because you're not afraid. You understand that Well-Being is yours.

Genetic Determinism... Another Tragic Error Regarding Causation

Genetic Determinism is another misguided concept that has been created by our externally-oriented scientists and blindly accepted by most of the ignorant public. oh... that sounded a bit harsh didn't it? Well, if the shoe fits... and I include myself, of course, for I was not immune to these logically-sounding ideas either. But, is it TRUE? and is it the only idea out there on the subject? Nobody ever seems to ask that question... and it is not the only idea.

Genetic Determinism is championed by the external-cause oriented scientific community and it says your genes CAUSE the physical effects we see manifested as a human body, or any other living organism with DNA. There are allegedly genes that cause eye color, sexual preferences, certain diseases... and on and on. And if you have any 'bad' genes, you will have the 'bad'  outcomes caused by the genes. You will be a "Victim" of chance DNA combinations and helpless from the results.

There is another idea

That idea is called EpiGenetics and it comes from the Internally-oriented community and says that our genes are REFLECTIVE of the consciousness of the occupier. In other words, your genes are the effects of the arrangement of your mind... mainly the unconscious part. And isn't it interesting that 98% of your mind is unconscious and 98% of DNA is 'junk', or unknown, according to scientists? This is not a coincidence. Reference Bruce Lipton, Dr. Mercola or Wayne Dwyer.

Epigenetics fits much better to our world-view than Genetic Determinism.

Feeling is Causation...

"We all regard feelings far too much as effects, and not sufficiently as causes of the events of the day." (Neville)

We are all in a constant process of creation. Every reaction is a creation and we will reap what we sow. Every habit of thought is telling us what is coming. The present moment does not recede into the past... it is projected forward. If you want to change the future you must begin by interfering with our reactions and change our perceptions in the moment of NOW. You will know whether or not you are going to like your future by how you are feeling right now, in the present. You may be reacting to your thinking or reacting to your environment... but again every reaction is a creation.

Master your reactions and Master your life. 

You master your reactions first by being aware of them, without judgement, just noticing. Then, begin to rearrange your mental story so that your reaction is one that will project a future worthy of your occupation. A nightly revision of the days events, before you fall asleep, is a most productive activity. Simply replay the day in your mind and mentally change any part that could be improved the way you would like to see it. Then fall asleep in the feeling of your perfect day!

Spyware of the Mind...

Have you ever had one of those reactions to something and you had no idea where it came from? Perhaps something unpleasant came out of your mouth and there was nothing you could do about it. You over-reacted or under-reacted in a way you would not have chosen consciously. This is happening all the time and we are usually not aware of it. Scientists are discovering more and more how the human brain is like a computer in the sense of how it stores information and how it follows programming. Each one of us has a base operating system and, as you are aware, there are different kinds. Some old ones, some new ones, some that are better at certain functions than other ones etc… Now think of your operating system. Your operating system is akin to the state of consciousness you are in. Like the OS of a computer, you get to choose which operating system to use. But most people are unaware of their choice. You may have an operating system that does not do what you desire no matter how big your hard drive or how fast your processor. You can add the latest applications, which you think will solve your problems, but your OS may be inadequate to use them. In other words, once your are in a state of consciousness, all the parameters of your life and your reactions to life are dictated by this state of consciousness… your operating system. It is the only real choice a person has. After that, we respond to life according to the programming. We think we are making choices all the time, but 

is it really a choice if it is just the output of a program?

Your Children are not Your Children

A Mind that is Choosing is a Mind that is in Confusion...

If you knew what you wanted, you would not be choosing. Your desire would be obvious to the point

that no other options existed to 'choose' from. It is the EGO and the Intellect that like choices... "Look what "I" chose... and aren't "I" soo smart, knowledgeable, clever for making such an good choice." or "Look what "I" have identified myself with".

And is there any real choice if your decision is the result of an unconscious program that was put in your mind by "others"? 

 You think you are choosing a Chevrolet, or to vote Republican, or buy Nike... a zillion ideas have been put into our heads by the time we are 10 years old and most people have never stopped to question any of them because they are unaware that they exist. The great advertisers and propagandists of the world are very well aware of how the mind works... are YOU? 

If you are not, you have probably never made any real choice at all your entire life.

Choice implies an awareness of options but if you are not aware of your own mental programming, are you really in choice? Certainly not. But well developed Egos and Intellects feed off of all these unconscious identifications and most find it comfotable there.

I hope you do not!

We thing we have a will of our own, and we exercise that will through choice. But, if you observe, you will see that well is the outcome of innumerable desires, of many forms  of frustration, fears; and these frustrations, fears , desires are the outcome  of our conditioning, of our background; so when we choose, we are never free. Choice in itself indicates the lack of freedom. A man who is really free has no choice; he is free... not to be this or that, but to BE. And my guess is that the Trillion dollar industry won't have too much to worry about because people are well programmed to give their power away to that industry and too preoccupied to change much. BUT... YOU are reading this and YOU have a chance. This is a "Red Pill / Blue Pill" moment in you life, right NOW.


BUT... it has a hidden cost. And that is that YOU must take responsibility for your health and learn how to use it YOURSELF! YOU must explore its usefulness to YOU. No One else... YOU!

The Truman Show... A Beautiful Metaphor for Awakening

Sedona, Arizona... our stay this time is Perfect weather and Very dreamy for us. A long hike to the end of Boynton Canyon where there was a point where we felt an extreme energy change and a 20 drop in tempurature with a drastic and wonderful change in scenery from desert to forest. 4.5 hours later we returned rather tired and very satisfied. We came across the movie, The Truman Show, on Netflix and remembered it being light and entertaning so we indulged ourselves in a couple hours of Hollywood distraction.

What a great metaphor for Awakening... for Resurection! Well worth the viewing! Have you been feeling driven to push your boundaries lately? Did you notice when the creator watched Truman finally realize the truth and depart the stage... the creator tried to talk him into staying but you could see the love in his eyes.

So, what is your stage? I hope it is half as nice as the one Truman grew up with... but nice is no guarantee that you will awaken and may be more likely to keep you asleep in your comfort. Don't worry though... Awakening is Inevitable!

The Flood of Facts...

OK... so you heard about our camping on the St. Vrain River in Lyons, CO, during the recent FLOOD  Well, We left Boulder, CO on Monday and some construction workers broke a water main just as we were leaving, shooting water 50 ft in the air and FLOODING the entire street. Then we stopped for fuel in Walsenburg, CO, as we turned into a 40mph headwind and decided not to attempt to go over the mountain pass and stay the night. Then we kept smelling Diesel fuel, and looked to discover a fuel line had split open spraying a FLOOD of diesel fuel all over the back of the bus and our tow vehicle. Fortunately we actually had some fuel line to make the repair and cleaned up the car and stayed the night.

As with ALL things... they are symbolic... they reveal patterns and they teach us. So, obviously, FLOOD was a recurring theme... And the message to us reflects the FLOOD of Facts that we collectively find ourselves in world wide. No one knows what is true any more as we are in the biblical time called Babel. Pick any topic and there are so many different viewpoints and all of them seem valid!
So what is true? or better question, Where is truth?

Next Wednesday, on LifeStyle Luminaries Radio, our topic will be on the "FLOOD of FACTS" that have overflowed the world. This is a powerful topic regarding the creative power of the universe. Here is an sample of how the discussion will flow:

"May I tell you facts have overflowed the world like the FLOOD described in the bible. Man is drowned in facts, victimized by facts. It is in the Imagination that everything lives and not in its fact. Unless Imagination penetrates the facts, the deluge remains a deluge; this is the FLOOD that is upon us all"

"A man is in jail. that is a fact. He knows he is in there for X number of years, that is a fact. He waits and hopes that in some strange way he will be released from his confinement and never uses his Imagination to penetrate the fact. In March of 1943, I too, was imprisoned... in the army. and I didn't want any part of it. I simply penetrated the fact and saw myself in my apartment with my family. In nine day I was in my apartment in New York City, honorably discharged .

 This is the FLOOD and there is no other. We are drowned in facts and overwhelmed by them.

Facts always follow... they never precede. If there is a fact, it is preceded by the imaginal act that created it and the creator is always greater than the created, known as facts.

Choose Love...

You can choose to be right... 
Or you can choose to be in love.

The voice of self-righteousness is the
only voice you will hear in hell. If you think you are right and you hear righteousness coming out of your mouth, then you know who you are and you know where you are standing. And justifying your righteousness is just more hell. It may be challenging to fully grasp this concept, so lets start with a simple question:

Have you ever met anyone who thought they were wrong? 

Of course not! Everyone has come to a conclusion based on ALL their life's experience. If I could possibly know all the things that someone had experienced, all their beliefs, all their education, all their exposure to other's opinions, what they've read, all the TV they've watched, etc, etc...for their entire life, which led them to their conclusion... I would see that they ARE right! The fact that you and I can have radically different conclusions about the same subject is, well... sort of crazy! We both could be looking at a glass on the table and have such different opinions about it that it comes to violence. This is the force and the lunacy behind all War and  conflict. When you clearly understand this concept, you will put away the childish toys of self-righteousness and you will choose love!

Now, the intellectuals (and I include myself in that) always say something like, "But science is precise and there has to be a right answer!". Well, isn't it interesting that the great scientific minds of our time disagree about many of the so-called absolutes and argue (self-righteously, of course) endlessly about them? One thing you can say about "answers" is that different answers will likely produce different results, of course! Which one is best, is purely subjective, even if the different results are quantifiable.  Even mathematics seems true, absolute and "Right", always with only one correct answer. You know... 1+1 = 2 always, right? But then you realize that 1+1 can = 3?  How? Mother + Father = mother/father/child, or 3. Oops... did your mind just expand a bit? And how does one reconcile the pure logic of mathematics with the abstractions (can you say "square root of a negative number?) it uses all the time? You don't... you accept them and test the results and the results speak for themselves.

The same is true when speaking of consciousness and its relationship to reality. The intellectual mind sees this relationship as an abstraction and dismisses it based on its orientation to the "facts" perceived by the 5 senses, ie; "I believe it when I see it".  But just like mathematics, if the intellectual (left brain) mind accepted this relationship as Cause (consciousness) and Effect (reality), and tested the results, the truth would be revealed in the same way.

And, even as we spend time engaging in this on-going discourse, we could have spent this time... in love!
