We are Earth...

 We do not "come into" this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree. 

As the ocean "waves," the universe "peoples." Every individual is an expression of the whole realm of nature, a unique action of the total universe. 

This fact is rarely, if ever, experienced by most individuals. Even those who know it to be true in theory do not sense or feel it, but continue to be aware of themselves as isolated "egos" inside bags of skin.

If You Watch Your Own Mind...

Words and their concepts have led us away from reality and and that is the Prodigal Journey (click to read post). Now, there are some words to lead you back to yourself and Krishnamurti has done the best job of it. However, here he makes it really clear that words are not neccessary for your return, and that words are probably a hinderance for most of us. 

Can you get your mind out of words? 

It's called, "Visualization" or "Imagination", and uses a different part of the mind.

How did you learn all that you are talking about, and how can we come to know it?

KRISHNAMURTI:

That is a good question, is it not? Now, if I may talk about myself a little, I have not read any books

about these things, neither the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita, nor any psychological books; but as I told you, if you watch your own mind, it is all there.

So when once you set out on the journey of self-knowledge, books are not important. It is like entering a strange land where you begin to find out new things and make astonishing discoveries; but, you see, that is all destroyed if you give importance to yourself.

The moment you say, “I have discovered, I know, I am a great man because I have found out this and that,” you are lost. If you have to take a long journey, you must carry very little; if you want to climb to a great height, you must travel light.
 
So this question is really important, because discovery and understanding come through self-knowledge, through observing the ways of the mind. What you say of your neighbour, how you talk, how you walk, how you look at the skies, at the birds, how you treat people, how you cut a branch—all these things are important,

because they act like mirrors that show you as you are 

and, if you are alert, you discover everything anew from moment to moment.

The Wile E. Coyote of Consciousness... Ahriman

All things are TRUE.
 Because TRUTH is not dependent upon anything outside the perceiver of TRUTH. Hence, a true judgment need not conform to the external facts to which it relates.

And all things are in BALANCE

Our Mental image of the psychic embodiment of perfection and Grace is an idea personified in the word "Christ".

It's opposite, would be named, Satan, or Lucifer, or, in this discussion Ahriman.

Ahriman is the name that the Mystic, Anthroposophist, Rudolf Steiner, gives to his psychic impression of evil. I recently came across this information through the Dark Journalist YouTube channel, "X-Series" (Click link), which we highly recommend.

Now, I do not pretense as any kind of authority on Anthroposophy, and Steiner makes a distinction between Ahriman and Lucifer. But Fear is Fear, and fear looks like evil, in whatever form we assemble it into from our conditioned mind.

This personification of Steiner's fear, Ahriman, has allegedly created a trap for the innocent, and the deceived, called the 8th Sphere. It is alleged that this trap is set to keep us indefinitely recycling in a world that seems very much like this one so that we do not spiritually advance to the higher dimensional realities.

Now, Steiner's subconscious personifications are universal and not unique. And although it sounds, and looks scary, it has no power over the spiritually awake.

Hence our comparison of Ahriman to "Wile E. Coyote" in the classic "Road Runner" cartoons.

The spiritually awake would be the Road Runner. For the UN-initiated to the cartoon... The Road Runner is always breezing through the cartoon world with ease while the Coyote is endlessly scheming of complicated ways to catch him. The Road Runner is completely unconcerned with Coyote's antics and NEVER seems to get caught up in the traps.

The purpose of these talks is to bring about a psychological change in you, the individual. consciousness.

Humanity, understood psychologically, is an infinite series of levels of awareness and you, individually, are what you are according to where you are in the series. Ephesians tells us that, "All things, when admitted, are made manifest by light." The word "light" recorded here means awareness; consciousness." The state the individual admits into his consciousness is the cause of one man being rich and another poor. The poor man admits to being in the state of poverty by saying, "I am poor," just as the rich man admits wealth by saying, "I am rich." Anything you, an individual, claim yourself to be (be it good, bad or indifferent, right or wrong) must be made manifest in your world, for by claiming the state, you have consented to its life.

There is only one cause, and that is consciousness. Your consciousness is the center from which your world mirrors and echoes the state you presently occupy. Now, a state can be defined as all that you believe and consent to as being true. So, if you want your world to change, you must determine what you want to accept and consent to as true before you can change it. To arrive at a certain definition of self, you must begin by uncritically observing your automatic reaction to an event, for your reaction defines your state. The Romance of Sleep...

Neville:

SLEEP, the life that occupies one-third of our stay on earth, is the natural

door into the subconscious. So it is with sleep that we are now concerned.

The conscious two-thirds of our life on earth is measured by the degree of

attention we give sleep. 

Our understanding of and delight in what sleep

has to bestow will cause us, night after night, to set out for it as though

we were keeping an appointment with a lover.

"In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men,

in slumbering upon the bed; then he openeth the ears of men and sealeth

their instruction", Job 33. It is in sleep and in prayer, a state akin to sleep,

that man enters the subconscious to make his impressions and receive his

instructions.

In these states the conscious and subconscious are creatively

joined. The male and female become one flesh. Sleep is the time when

the male or conscious mind turns from the world of sense to seek its lover

or subconscious self. The subconscious - unlike the woman of the world

who marries her husband to change him – has no desire to change the

conscious, waking state, but loves it as it is and faithfully reproduces its

likeness in the outer world of form.

The conditions and events of your life

are your children formed from the molds of your subconscious impressions

in sleep. They are made in the image and likeness of your innermost

feelings that they may reveal you to yourself.

Time is an Element of Disorder...

So, it is possible for me to be rid of fear totally, completely, on the instant? If I allow fear to continue, I will create disorder all the time; therefore, one sees that time is an element of disorder, not a means to be ultimately free of fear. So there is no gradual process of getting rid of fear, just as there is no gradual process of getting rid of the poison of nationalism. If you have nationalism and you say that eventually there will be the brotherhood of man, in the interval there are wars, there are hatreds, there is misery, there is all this appalling division between man and man; therefore, time is creating disorder.

So time means moving from what is to “what should be.” I am afraid, but one day I shall be free of fear; therefore, time is necessary to be free of fear—at least, that is what we think. To change from what is to “what should be” involves time. Now, time implies effort in that interval between what is and “what should be.” I don’t like fear, and I am going to make an effort to understand, to analyze, to dissect it, or I am going to discover the cause of it, or I am going to escape totally from it. All this implies effort—and effort is what we are used to. We are always in conflict between what is and “what should be.” The “what I should be” is an idea, and the idea is fictitious, it is not “what I am”, which is the fact; and the “what I am;” can be changed only when I understand the disorder that time creates.

Was Jesus a Yogini?...

I find myself quite amazed as I receive e mails from Christians telling me how evil Yoga is. How it will open your mind to demons etc.

And yet it was taught by Jesus Christ.

Jesus said you take away the key when you do not enter within yourself (Luke 11:52) That’s Yoga.

Jesus said if your eye be single your body will fill with light, Matt 6:22) That’s Yoga

Jesus said take no thought for your life (Matt 6:25) That’s Yoga

Christians will tell you that Jesus was saying, don’t worry about not having food or money or clothes or a place to live etc.

No, Jesus was saying take no thought in meditation to protect yourself from loss of these things.

Jesus said the first thing you should do for your life is go within yourself where the kingdom is. Matt 6:33 Luke 17:21 That’s Yoga.

And then Jesus said, take my yoke upon you. Matt 11:29

Jump to Etymology - The Sanskrit noun yoga translates to (and is cognate with) English "yoke". It is derived from the root yuj "to attach, join, harness, yoke". ...

So Jesus in saying the kingdom is within you, seek within yourself, touch the single eye, separate from thought was saying take my Yoga upon you.

In other words he was saying come within an and allow me to attach myself to you..

Anne with an IMAGINATION...

Who would have thunk it?!!! NETFLIX producing a shining example of the Awakened Imagination in its production of "Anne with an "E"" Upon our second viewing, it has become one of our all-time favorites! And we wonder... How many people will get that? It is our great inspiration that its time, and our time, has come. Watch it closely and let it sink in!!!

Are You a "Second-Hand Human Being"?

The one who is alone is innocent

One of the factors of sorrow is the extraordinary loneliness of man. You may have companions, you may have gods, you may have a great deal of knowledge, you may be extraordinarily active socially, talking endless gossip about politics—and most politicians gossip anyhow—and still this loneliness remains. Therefore, man seeks to find significance in life and invents a significance, a meaning. But the loneliness still remains. So can you look at it without any comparison, just see it as it is, without trying to run away from it, without trying to cover it up, or to escape from it? Then you will see that loneliness becomes something entirely different.

We are not alone. We are the result of a thousand influences, a thousand conditionings, psychological inheritances, propaganda, culture. We are not alone, and therefore

we are secondhand human beings. 

When one is alone, totally alone, neither belonging to any family though one may have a family, nor belonging to any nation, to any culture, to any particular commitment, there is the sense of being an outsider—outsider to every form of thought, action, family, nation. And it is only the one who is completely alone who is innocent. It is this innocency that frees the mind from sorrow.
