Here to share with you an email we received from from Bill Donahue which we feel is poignant for the situation we all find ourselves in. We are not that familiar with Terrance's work, but like what Bill Has Shared with us/you. You can also watch Bill on YouTube on his page listed above, Bill Donahue
...One of the great minds of the true life invisible realm was
the late Terence McKenna.
Terence said this which I feel really sums up the lunacy that we all tend to follow as if we were drawn magically to the Pied Piper of Washington.
Terence said:
"We have wandered into a state of prolonged neurosis because of the absence
of a direct pipeline to the unconscious, and we have then fallen victim to priestcraft
of every conceivable sort."
Terrence McKenna was not the type of person that the system could ever deal with.
An innovative theoretician and spellbinding orator,
Terence was a powerful voice for the psychedelic movement.
That could frighten people. The psychedelic movement.
And yet if we would be willing to admit it, his work was closer to
the works of Jesus Christ then even Billy Graham or any other
religious leader of our time.
Basically he was telling us the same thing that Jesus told us.
There is a power within us. There is a force for good within us.
That in order to reach and become part of that force we have to
move ourselves away from the leaders of fear, guilt, violence and war,
to the realm of the unconscious where we can then be directed
by the magical power we call God.
His reference to us falling victim to the priestcraft of every kind
is the truest thing that can be said, and we all know it.
We are dragged along to submit our money and mind to religion.
We are dragged along to submit our children to the government
to be annihilated in wars against innocent people who have
done nothing to us such as Viet Nam and Iraq.
We are dragged along to submit our money and our lives to corporations
who have systematically destroyed our environment and the planet earth
in their wild search for profit.
If we do not find the realm of the unconscious within ourselves which
is attainable through meditation then we will continue to be cannon fodder
for their wars, zombies for their preaching, and willing customers for their destructive wares.
Once you become part of the unconscious you become part of God.
You become part of the higher and your concerns are for nature , the poor,
the sick, the animals, the oppressed.
for Gods creation.
That was the ethic of Terrence McKenna.
He said this before his death and I want to share it with you now.
"I'll try to be around and bout.
But if I'm not then you will know that I am
behind your eyelids, and I'll meet you there"
He died of a malignant brain tumor.
Some will look at Terence McKenna and say (as the religious would say,)
oh he took those psychedelic things, etc etc.
But keep in mind that his philosophy was the philosophy of Jesus.
And the philosophy of religion and Christianity is the philosophy of patriotism,
not to Gods created earth but to one country, to one group.
Their philosophy is the philosophy of love, as long as you belong
to their group.
Pray for our troops, kill theirs.
rest of the world addicted to?
Have not we been drugged with the lies and the false promises, and the
excuses that have placed us into a position where we would actually
follow along like sheep, the ones who would lead us into wars,
and deprive us of the need to heal the worlds suffering?
And so when they would look at Terence McKenna and say
oh he took psychedelic drugs.
The facts are that they have fed their flocks the drugs of hate,
suspicion, violence, and war.
You demolish the country and its people, and still cannot bring yourself to say it was an evil because of your patriotism.
This is the type of thing that Terence McKenna talked about.
The mind of the average person is totally exploited by the lies
and propaganda of the system.
I will conclude with a few more thoughts from Terence McKenna
“Nature is not our enemy, to be raped and conquered.
Nature is ourselves, to be cherished and explored.”
“We have been to the moon, we have charted the depths of the ocean
and the heart of the atom,
but we have a fear of looking inward to ourselves because we sense
that is where all the contradictions flow together.”
He knew that the only place safely out of their reach was deep within the unconscious self.
He rests there, but before he left, he gave us beautiful thoughts to
ponder about our own place in his mystical village of light.
